2026 Winter Series Champion · BSI Race Team

It started with a spark
A visit to a NASCAR race helped inspire Wesson’s ambition to become a racing driver. An inexpensive first car gave him a place to start turning that ambition into experience. What began as a love of watching racing became a life spent learning how to race.
Today, Wesson drives the No. 77 micro sprint with BSI Race Team. At nine years old, he has won the 2026 NOW600 Junior Sprints National Championship and the 2026 Winter Series Championship.
The work between race nights
Wesson’s racing education continues long after the checkered flag. He studies race footage each week, looking at his lines and how he uses the throttle and brakes. Simulator practice gives him another way to build his skills, while time with his coach and crew chief helps him understand what to work on next.
That routine is part of the story behind No. 77: learning, putting the lesson into practice and returning to the footage to see what changed.
Growing up on the road
Wesson is homeschooled and travels full-time for racing. School, practice and race weekends are part of his everyday life. The track is where he pursues his ambitions, meets fans and gets to be part of a team.
His dreams reach toward NASCAR and High Limit sprint cars. For now, the focus is on growing as a driver, learning with BSI Race Team and making the most of each opportunity in the No. 77.
A growing community behind him
Fans follow Wesson both at the track and online. He was named the Junior Sprints winner in MicroSprintHub’s 2026 Mid-Season People’s Choice Awards. Supporters can follow his journey, wear his merchandise or stop by to say hello at the track.
